About Usiku Games

Africa's Leading Impact Gaming Studio

We create innovative games and AI solutions that educate, engage, and empower communities, driving measurable social impact across Africa and beyond.

Our Story

Founded in Nairobi, Kenya, Usiku Games develops games and AI solutions that educate, engage, and empower communities. From our base at the Nairobi Game Development Centre, we collaborate with global partners including the Gates Foundation, Harvard Medical School, Microsoft, and GIZ to create tools and experiences that deliver measurable social impact.

Beyond our projects, we operate the Nairobi Game Development Centre and co-founded the Pan Africa Gaming Group (PAGG), building Africa's game development ecosystem through mentorship, collaboration, and networks that support both current and next-generation developers.

Our Mission

Our mission is to harness the power of games and AI to create positive change across Africa and beyond, while supporting the growth of the continent's creative and technological talent.

Our Values

Impact First

We prioritize measurable outcomes over outputs, ensuring every project drives real-world social change.

Cultural Authenticity

We build from Africa, for the world. Our solutions are rooted in local context and cultural relevance, drawing on our deep understanding of African communities and markets.

Innovation

We explore the full potential of games and AI, pushing boundaries and pioneering new approaches to old problems from gamified psychometrics to AI-powered clinical verification systems.

Collaboration

We believe the best solutions emerge from true partnership. We co-create with our clients, communities, and ecosystems to develop solutions that truly serve their users.
